FAQs

How does cavitation work?

The procedure breaks down fat and converts solid fat into a liquid substance that is easy to remove through the lymphatic and urinary systems.

Is it painful?

No, most clients consider the treatment painless and comfortable. You may hear a slight ringing in your ear which is not harmful and will disappear when the cavitation is done.

Is it possible to lose weight with cavitation?

Because you are reducing fat deposits you may experience some weight loss, but Ultrasound Cavitation itself is not a weight loss treatment. Its purpose is to treat adipose fat and cellulite, which will reduce the circumference of the treated area.

Am I good candidate?

Cavitation Lipo is ideal for people who want to achieve slimming results a certain area of their body, but do not want to undergo any invasive surgical treatment like liposuction. A good candidate is someone looking for fat removal from a specific area such as the abdomen, hips, thighs, legs, buttocks, flanks or arms. Someone willing to commit to the process.

How much time should pass between each treatment?

It is best to schedule your appointments a week and no closer than three days apart. It is essential to allow your body enough time to metabolize and excrete fats and waste materials after each session.

What kind of results can I expect?

Results will vary for each individual, but a minimum of 1/4 inch is seen after one treatment. For some patients, the process continues for hours post-treatment. It will take multiple treatments to achieve desirable but with each treatment cells are destroyed and the process is taking place. Everyone's body processes differently. Cavitation is not instant results, however, commitment to the process will get you where you want to be.

How many sessions do I need?

Although results can be seen with 1 session, it may take between 3 and 12 sessions to get the results you want. (I always recommend at least 3). Results are also dependent on body mass and circumference size, age, hormonal balance, medications and your desired goals. Incorporating the eating suggestions discussed will reduce the number of treatments that may be needed.

Are there any side effects?

The majority of clients have reported no adverse side effects. Most common are headaches immediately following the treatment or a strong desire to naturally eliminate waste wours for the body to process most of the material that has been produced. Results may vary as everyone’s body processes differently.

Clients that are not good candidates for cavitation/RF:

1. Currently breast feeding
2. Currently receiving treatment for cancer
3. Uncontrolled diabetes
4. Surgery within the last 6 months on the area wanting treatment
5.People with a cardiac pacemaker or other metal implants
6. Persons with coagulation disorders.

What is cellulite?

Cellulite is the name for collections of fat that push against the connective tissue beneath your skin. It often appears on your thighs, stomach and buttocks. Cellulite makes the surface of the skin look lumpy and puckered, or appear dimpled

Can I get rid of cellulite?

You can’t completely get rid of it, but there are ways to improve its appearance with diet, exercise and treatment options.

What are the treatment options?

I use a combination of cavitation, radio frequency, vacuum therapy and G-5 machine

How many treatments are needed?

Since all treatments are noninvasive, it all depends on how much cellulite one has, how smooth you want your appearance to be, and what you do when you’re not receiving treatments.
